Entry #1: Learning about Blogs

Since I'm blogging for the first time I thought it would be nice to walk through other blogs in example to show how I want my blogs to be portrayed and which type of blogs influence me the most. In my opinion blogs have a great impact on people which is why I thing they are so important.



I want to star off with a blog I reviewed that I personally loved which is by Natalie Lesnefsky and called At Home With Natalie. The reason why I enjoy her blogs is her website it very organized and linked, connecting her audience to her instagram where they can find more content. Her blogs are also very well writing and explain every detail or step so her audience don't get confused. Also by using positive diction and punctuation you could tell that her tone is very exciting and enthusiastic. Showing that she is blogging to show her life but also to show hacks and fun idea people can do with their family or friends.

The two other blogs I reviewed are not the worst, although they are very well organize by having links and tabs that are easy to understand but their blogs consist of mostly pictures and not words and the word they do use don't show any emotion or connection towards the audience. The first one is called Say Yes by Liz Stanley and the picture below shows her whole blog which is not very much. Her format gives materialistic vibes to show the simplicity of her life and how she just want to inform her audience small update upon her life but not to the point of it being too personal.

The other blog is called Sincerely Jules. Her blogs also contain mostly pictures but I love how she allows her audience to pin the picture for inspiration and gives them the online link of where they can find it and other clothing similar to it that they might also like. Showing that her purpose for blogging is fashion ideas that her audience could purchase to wear and love.

These blogs influence me because certain blogs is something I read or look on my own time due to interest and after reading something it stays in my mind which allows me to be influenced by it and have an effective on my whether it's positive or negative. Leading me to want to start blogging because I want to influence people positively and hopefully I'm able to affect you in that certain way.
