Entry #10: Animal testing

 Hi all you readers hope you're staying Quietly Awkward as me and thanks for tuning in today. Have you guys ever hear of animal testing? Animal testing is basically used to examine certain products or medicines on animals and observe them to see the outcome and effects before handing them to actual people. To the majority of society, animal testing is considered something that protects people from consuming something bad that can cause damage to one’s body, but people who think animal testing is a positive step towards our safety are probably uneducated and manipulated by companies who use animal testing hiding from the truth about the chemicals they use that could kill animals while taking advantage of customers.

I personally think People should stop promoting and buying from animal testing companies because animal testing can be considered unpleasant for the reason that it’s very deadly to animals and we as people use animals as pets for support of compass and animals can’t consent to being used for testing, it’s unnecessary, especially with the technology that we now have today, and it can’t always be reliable. After watching this video it left me awful for what animals experience especially because they don't give consent. I realized it’s very harmful and deadly to animals and we as people use animals as pets for support and compassion so it doesn't feel morally right. Also after doing some of my own research, I believe animal testing is unnecessary because there are other options such as cruelty-free products and now we have developed technology such as artificial skin and Eyetex testing to do test on.     Hi Tatiana, I also find it harsh for people to test on animals because it causes great harm to them. If people want to experiment on products or something else they should cross examine the products they put into it instead of testing it on helpless animals that have no say in it. I know most people always try to look for the products that say animal cruelty free to make sure they don’t get products that do this.

    I agree we should stop using animals as test subjects. I searched the estimate of how many animals go through animal testing, and it said that in a year, the estimated number is 50 million. That is how many animals are forced to endure painful experiments. Dogs that are known to be human friends are used to test the safety of drugs, medical devices, and weed killers. I find it so sad and harsh that people put animals through pain.

    Hi tatiana, I am glad to it bring such important topic to light. Animals shouldn’t be getting mistreated for the benefit of humans that is just cruel. I’ve heard the term animal cruelty before but I never researched in what ways were animals were getting mistreated. Bricely Amador

Entry #8: Friendships in one's life

  Hello readers I'm back again with another blog, and today I want to focus your attention on friendship. I truly value friendship and believe it's a key part of everybody's life.
